1. Consultation Fee

A non-refundable consultation fee is payable at the time of booking your initial appointment. This fee covers the surgeon's assessment, scalp analysis, and preparation of your personalized treatment plan.

The consultation fee is fully deductible from your total procedure cost if you proceed with treatment within 90 days of your consultation.

2. Procedure Deposit

To secure your procedure date, a deposit of 50% of the quoted total is required within 7 days of accepting your treatment plan. Your procedure date is considered provisional until this deposit is received.

The remaining balance is due 7 days before your scheduled procedure date. Failure to complete payment may result in forfeiture of your slot and deposit.

3. Accepted Payment Methods

• Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) — Preferred. Proof of payment must be emailed to info@sandtonhairtransplantclinic.co.za
• Bank Deposit — Cash deposits accepted at any Standard Bank branch
• Debit / Credit Card — Visa and Mastercard accepted in-clinic
• Cash — Accepted in-clinic only. No cash sent via courier

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable. International patients should account for currency conversion and potential bank charges.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Rescheduling is permitted once per booking without penalty (subject to the notice periods above). A second reschedule request will be treated as a cancellation and new booking.

5. No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive for your scheduled procedure without prior notice will result in full forfeiture of your deposit. A new booking will require a fresh deposit at the current rates.

If you arrive more than 30 minutes late without notification, we reserve the right to reschedule your procedure, subject to availability and the cancellation terms above.

6. Medical Cancellation

If our surgeon determines during pre-operative assessment that you are not medically fit to proceed (e.g., undiagnosed scalp infection, unstable medical condition), your deposit will be fully refunded or held indefinitely for a future date at your discretion.

If you fail to disclose relevant medical information during consultation that later prevents the procedure, standard cancellation terms apply.

7. Procedure Duration

Procedure durations are estimates based on typical cases:

• Consultation: 45 minutes – 1 hour
• FUE Hair Transplant: 8 – 12 hours (may extend for larger graft counts)
• PRP Therapy: 45 – 60 minutes
• Mesotherapy: 30 – 45 minutes

Patients should not schedule other commitments on their procedure day. Additional time may be required for preparation and immediate post-op observation.

8. Post-Procedure Appointments

Follow-up appointments at Day 1, Day 7, Month 1, Month 3, Month 6, and Month 12 are included in your procedure cost. Missed follow-ups without 24-hour notice may incur a rebooking fee of R500.

9. Refund Policy

Once a procedure has been performed, no refunds will be issued. If you are dissatisfied with your results, we encourage you to attend all scheduled follow-ups so our surgeon can assess and advise on enhancement options.

Refund requests for deposits must be submitted in writing via email and are processed within 14 business days.

10. Financing & Payment Plans

We do not currently offer in-house financing or payment plans. Full payment is required before the procedure. Patients are welcome to arrange independent medical financing through their preferred financial institution.

11. Pricing Validity

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After 30 days, a new consultation may be required and prices may be adjusted to reflect current rates.
